The ominus "Shiela" asks a disturbing question:

If you were going to kill someone, how would you do it and then how would you dispose of the body?

MACON GREYSON, hesitantly (gulp...) responds:

This is a touchy question and since this is being posted on the internet, and we really don't need to be suspects in various murder cases.  Lets change this question to, "Who would you punch in the crotch?"

Harley - Hulk Hogan's daughter and anyone associated with Entertainment Tonight

Badger - Cats and midgets

Fred - Dogfighters

Abe - The Miami Chick Bounty Hunters

Buddy - Paul Wolfowitz, Don Rumsfeld, Dick Cheney and Lindsay Lohan

As far as disposing of dead bodies, a couple of gallons of highly concentrated sulfuric acid goes a long way.  Hungry pigs are also pretty useful.

Thanks for the question.

Tim from Bryan seeks fashion advice:

If a man wears a white leather belt is that an indication he is likely gay?

MACON GREYSON responds:

It is our understanding in the fashion world that white is now the new tan. A couple of cool bands including The Hives and Jack White (White Stripes) might have something to say about wearing white belts. Also, Jack White likes to kick people's asses.

By the way, anyone asking us about fashion is tremendously confused about where to get fashion advice from. With that in mind, Macon Greyson sez, "Fuck Labor Day", wear white belts year round!

Thanks for the question.

Armbar seeks the answer to following question:

Why does your new found collective gayness make me fall out of my chair laughing?  Well done

MACON GREYSON responds:

Umm.... gayness??

I looked up the definition of gayness in Webster's Dictionary and it says something about being happy. I am guessing that we are bringing out some hidden joy that you weren't aware of in your life. We are glad that we have touched a happy nerve in your world and hope that you find more happiness in your future.

One word of advice, try not to get thrown in jail because the word has a totally different definition behind bars.

Thanks for the question.

TIM in Bryan, TX inquires:

If you used that big ol’ brain of yours to create a functional time machine where and to what time period would you travel to?  And why?

MACON GREYSON responds:

That is a fantastic question, and thanks for saying that my brain is big.  You know what they say, "Big brain.....big ****"

Now to your question.....

If I were to choose a time period to travel to, I would choose to travel back in time about twelve years and then slap myself in the face.

The same question was posed to Fred Kousal, our porn star bass player.  He said he wanted to travel fifty years into the future, buy a sports almanac and then return to present time and bet on all the Super Bowl winners in Las Vegas.  He said no one has ever thought of that before.

Thanks again for your question Tim.

PHIL THOMAS asks:

Is that Buddy or Badger posing for the Cure All Tonic T-shirts?? Inquiring minds want to know.

MACON GREYSON responds:

Well, quite honestly, it is neither. We had a very highly recognizable supermodel do that work for us. There are a number of high-toned celebs who like Macon Greyson and he wanted to do the shoot. However, since he did it for free, we could not show his face. All I can say is that it is not Jude Law or Ben Affleck.

Moreover, some have noticed that Macon Greyson members have been losing weight recently. It is true that we have been losing some weight because we have decided to drink instead of eat. Thats a choice all bands must make and we have chosen booze over fast food. Neither is appealing, but alcohol is certainly more sanitary than truckstop burritos. Thanks for the question....

From TODD:

In "Fine Line" there is a line "crying and driving" is this in any way a wink and nod to the band "Drivin-N-Cryin" ?

MACON GREYSON responds:

Thats a great question.  Here's a little backstory....

I saw "Drivin' and Cryin" live at one of the greatest venues of all-time called Liberty Lunch back when I lived in Austin, TX.  They were opening a show for the band "In Living Color".  I don't know if you remember those guys, but they had the hit song "Cult of Personality" way back in the 90's.  That was my first exposure to "DnC" and I thought they were a great rock'n'roll band.  I picked up one of their albums that night and was a fan of the band for a good while.

However, with that said, the line in that song was not an overt nod to them.  It may have been a subconscious decision to choose those words because I liked the band.  But to be perfectly honest I had written the next line of the song "Down the highway that the lonely go, a destination you won't ever know" before the other lines.  I needed to somehow convey the notion of a lonely and angry guy in car, thinking about the girl who had just dumped him.  So I went with "Drivin and cryin....".

Your're probably right about it being a nod to a band I liked at the time, but it was my subconscious making the choice though.... and you never know about my subconscious.... it has made some strange choices for me over the years.

Thanks for the question Todd and thank you very much for all your support of this little band.  Please keep in touch with us and hopefully you are enjoying the clips of the new tunes we have been posting on MySpace.

peace,
Buddy
